As an important part of the future coastal high-speed railway corridor, the Shenzhen-Shantou high-speed railway runs eastward from Shenzhen Xili Station through Shenzhen Pingshan Station and Huizhou South Station to Chishi Station in the Shenzhen-Shantou Cooperation Zone, connecting with Guangshan Railway.
