The Document Foundation announced the launch of LibreOffice 7.0.3, which is the third minor version of the LibreOffice 7.0 series. Mainly for technical enthusiasts and super users, this version contains more than 90 bug fixes, including Calc issues introduced in 7.0.2 and improvements to document compatibility.
The most important new features of the LibreOffice 7.0 series include: support for OpenDocument Format (ODF) 1.3; using Skia graphics engine and Vulkan GPU-based acceleration to provide better performance; and carefully improved compatibility with DOCX, XLSX and PPTX files .
Officials said that LibreOffice 7.0.3 represents the latest trend in open source office suite functions. Users who want a more mature version optimized for enterprise-level deployment can still download LibreOffice 6.4.7.
