LibreOffice 6.3 release, the open source office suite

LibreOffice 6.3 has been released, this version is to increase the better performance, enhanced with a proprietary document format interoperability, as well as a range of new features and other improvements. The Document Foundation (TDF, The Document Foundation) plans to release 6 is a modified version of LibreOffice 6.3, TDF now says are recommended to use LibreOffice 6.2 series, in order to obtain a stable working environment.

LibreOffice 6.3 brings an important change for Linux users, that is, it does not come with a Debian or Red Hat operating system 32-bit binaries. LibreOffice 6.3 is no longer supported 32-bit Linux distributions , TDF for a few months longer support 32-bit systems, it is recommended to LibreOffice 6.2.x branch for 32-bit installation.

Microsoft Office Interoperability get in LibreOffice 6.3 are improvements to support export Dotx document templates and Xlsx spreadsheet template, import charts from Docx DraingML group of shapes, from editing in PowerPoint pptx file import and export SmartArt, as well.

There are better and xlsx PivotTable interoperability by supporting PDF / A-2 standard document format, support for export to PDF document file is improved. Forms menu has been added to Writer, editable PDF form for new design, LibreOffice 6.3 version also allows you to share a document before you export or delete or hide sensitive information.

LibreOffice 6.3 also adds performance improvements Writer and Calc for users to quickly save the XLS file for the Calc spreadsheet that supports text files in different bookmarks, use the VLOOKUP faster to load and render Calc files, support for large-scale ODS / xlsx tables and spreadsheets, and support for embedded fonts.

Calc LibreOffice 6.3 is introduced in a formula bar pull down a new widget, allowing users faster access to the most commonly used functions, and also add a new function FOURIER for calculating the discrete Fourier transform of the input array. Windows users can also use the console mode appropriate to increase the batch conversion and printing operations.
