Installing MathType causes Word macros to be banned, unable to copy and paste, and vbe6ext.olb cannot be loaded. Solution

      Yes, this is expected. We disable that function in order for our Macros to run correctly.

      There is no workaround other than to disable MathType from the Tools > Templates and Addins…

      It probably means that in order to make the mathtype macro to be used normally, the paste option function of word is specifically disabled. The solution is to put: "Tools"-"Templates and add-ons"-"MathType Commands 6 for Word.dot" in front Cancel the check,

        Delete the things in the startup folder (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\STARTUP) in the office installation directory, and that's it.
