After installing MathType, the following error occurs when using Word:

Step 1: Check whether it has been added to the add-in
Open word---》File---》Options---》Add-ins (find the path you loaded)
Step 2: Open the StartUp folder in the directory found in the previous step. The files inside are the add-ins that Word will look for when it starts. If there is a problem with these files, various errors will pop up. There may be the file MathType Commands 6 for word 2013.dotm in your directory, or there may be nothing at all.
The MathType Commands 6 for word 2013.dotm and MathType.wll are MathType add-ins. If it is missing or damaged, MathType cannot be embedded in word.
Step 3: Repair method: First find the mathtype installation path: open the mathpage folder, copy the file (MathPage.will); then, paste the copied (MathPage.WLL) into the Office16 folder, not the Office16/STARTUP file Inside the folder
The third part is particularly important. I found that many methods are installed in the STARTUP folder, which made me stumble forward despite failure, and finally found that it was so simple.
