Powerdesigner16.5 connect to oracle&nbsp...

         Checking my previous blog, there is a similar article. I thought that this simple problem would be solved soon, but I did not expect to spend a lot of trouble to record it for future reference.

        I only record the problems I encountered

 

1) Powerdesigner needs to be cracked, the cracked file is easy to find (omitted)

2) The default connect database in the powerdesigner menu is the called 32-bit odbc. It is called C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe. Before opening C:\Windows\System32\odbcad32.exe, the test connection has been no problem, but the connection in powerdesigner will report the following error

 

3) The oracle client does not need to be downloaded. You can download the oracle instant client 32 bit. Both basic and odbc versions need to be downloaded from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/topics/winsoft-085727.html  and then the content of the odbc version Copy it to the basic folder. Then copy the monitoring file of the oracle server together with the NETWORK file to the instant client directory. 4) Configuration in powerdesigner
