VMware 12 Pro virtual machine installs Ubuntu 16 operating system, and there is no response after choosing to create a new virtual machine operation

Problem description :

I first installed the VMware 12 Pro virtual machine under the WIN 10 system, and then installed the Ubuntu 16 operating system on the virtual machine.

In the VMware software homepage interface, click "Create a new virtual machine", then the installation steps window will pop up, use the default settings to click all the way, and finally click "Finish" to end the operation.

Under normal circumstances, the "Ubuntu 64-bit" directory should appear on the left and start the installation interface of the Ubuntu system.

But I found that after clicking the "Finish" button, nothing appeared, only the folder "Ubuntu 64-bit" appeared under the file directory where the virtual machine was installed.

Solution 1: Check whether the Windows firewall is turned off. If it is not turned off, please open "Control Panel"-"System and Security"-"Windows Firewall"-"Enable or Close Windows Firewall", and then select Turn off the firewall.

Solution 2: After uninstalling cleanly, reinstall the VMware virtual machine.

Solution 3: I have seen many people on the Internet saying that VMware should be run as an administrator before creating a new virtual machine. But after I did it, the problem of creating a new virtual machine was unresponsive. After that, I tried to run VMware without an administrator, and then create a new virtual machine, and it succeeded! It seems that other people's experience may not apply to me, so try!
