Virtual machine Hadoop configuration tutorial

What we installed today is a mirror of the CentOS-7-64 version. If other versions are used, they are all the same.

The configuration of JDK and Hadoop will be shown in the next tutorial.

  1. File—>>New Virtual Machine

2. Select the configuration type: typical or custom. What we explain here is the typical mode. For beginners, it is not recommended to select the custom mode, please skip it. 3. Do not install the mirror first, choose to install later.

4. Change the name of the virtual machine. If the virtual machine is located, it is not recommended to put it on C drive like me

5. Click on custom hardware . 6. The processor is recommended to be set to quad-core. If the computer configuration is low, it is recommended to switch to two-core. 7. The memory is set to 2G, the same as the above configuration can be adjusted to 1G, click close after completion. 8. Click Finish, the virtualizer is generated. 9. Click Edit virtual machine settings. 10. Select CD/DVD, choose to use ISO image file in the connection option column on the right, and then click Browse to get the image that you downloaded in advance.

11. Click to start the virtual machine.
