The award-winning work of Wanli Open Source is the database migration and tuning practice based on openEuler. The database adopts the distributed database GreatDB Cluster and the stand-alone database GreatDB independently developed by the company. The performance of the distributed database is increased by more than 40%, and the performance of the stand-alone database is increased by more than 20%. .
Since the opening of the openEuler community, Wanli Open Source and Huawei have always maintained close cooperation and technology sharing. Winning the silver award in the Huawei Developer Contest this time also fully verified that Wanli Open Source has the R&D capabilities of two major categories of basic software at the same time as the operating system and the database, and has the comprehensive strength to realize the operating system-enabled database. At the same time, Beijing Tuolinsi, a subsidiary of Wanli Open Source, is a deep partner of Huawei. It is currently the first maintainer of the Xfce SIG group and the GNOME SIG group, and an active contributor to the Huawei openEuler community.
This year, Wanli Open Source Program applied to become a Maintainer of the DB SIG group, providing DB SIG with various open source database packages, including NoSQL, NewSQL, OLAP, HTAP, time series library, etc., and continuously improving openEuler's open source database solutions.
