1. Three ways to buy Alibaba Cloud

For example, if you have a large number of customers in the South China region, you should choose the "Shenzhen" node for your region. If you need to be exempt from filing and do not want to file for processing, then you must choose the region of **Hong Kong or foreign nodes (such as Singapore and Japan)**.
- 2. Select instance specifications : At present, this method is only suitable for choosing four configurations, 1 core 1G, 1 core 2G, 2 core 4G, 4 core 8G. Generally, small sites choose 1 core 2G, enterprise sites or sites with high traffic (enterprise business demand scenarios) choose 2 cores 4G, 4 cores 8G.
- 3. Choose the operating system (mirror) : Here is the choice of operating system. The choice of Linux and Window depends on your business needs. For example, if your website and software program deployment need to use Linux, then choose one of the Linux versions, Centos . If you need to use the Window operating system in your future deployment procedures, choose Window.

Choose public network broadband : If you are an individual user, it is recommended to choose 1 to 5M fixed broadband is sufficient, and if you have a long-term stable station construction, it is recommended to choose 3-5M broadband. 2.1. Choose a region (geographic location)

2.3. Select operating system and software image
Select the mirror image of the server and the size and type of the system disk
- (1). If the server configuration you choose is low, I personally recommend using CentOS. Of course, the higher the version, the better.
- (2) If the server configuration you choose exceeds 2H 4G, then you can install any system at will
- (3). The default system disk is fine. If you want better system performance, you can choose an SSD type system disk. Storage (cloud disk) is just fine, choose 40GB
2.4. Select network broadband and security group
In the "Network and Security" of the cloud server, generally keep the default value.
Note: If your server needs external network access, you must purchase public network broadband. The minimum setting is 1M. If you do not choose, no public IP address will be assigned.
2.5. Set login password and other information
Set the login password and instance name of the cloud server
- (1) Generally, I personally like to set a custom password. After configuring the server, I change it to a complex password, even I can’t remember it myself
- (2) If you want to log in to the cloud server more securely, you can set a secret key pair, which is very safe

It is recommended for three years, because Alibaba Cloud has discounts for new users, and old users cannot enjoy it.
