Sophos announces official open source sandbox software Sandboxie

Developer Sophos announced the official open source  Sandboxie , and announced the complete source code of Sandboxie on the official website.

Sandboxie is a sandbox-based isolation software for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows NT operating systems. The program was released in 2004 and was originally a tool for sandboxing Internet Explorer. Over time, it has expanded to support other browsers and any Win32 application. It creates an isolated operating environment similar to a sandbox, where you can run or install applications without permanently modifying local or mapped drives. The isolated virtual environment allows controlled testing of untrusted programs and web surfing.
