1. Give enterprises more possibilities. The SQL Server 2019 version of the cloud database is released. The SQL Server 2019 standard version of the cloud database is officially launched on Alibaba Cloud, bringing more new experiences. The SQL Server 2019 version provides new features for big data clusters, higher engine performance, and enhanced database capabilities such as security and availability. The cloud database SQL Server 2019 version is further based on the cloud platform and provides a complete database solution with high availability, high security, high performance, and light operation and maintenance, which brings comprehensive improvement of engine capabilities and operation and maintenance capabilities to customers' business scenarios. In addition to the upgrade of existing examples, the cloud database SQL Server 2019 version can also better support database applications in emerging fields such as machine learning and artificial intelligence.
2. The shared specification family is launched, and the genuine and cheap cloud database SQL Server Standard Edition series has newly released a shared specification family. Compared with the earlier exclusive specification family, the cost has dropped by more than 50%, further reducing the cost of cloud-based enterprises. Cloud database SQL Server exclusive cluster-customer-specific RDS SQL Server cluster Cloud cloud database SQL Server's new exclusive cluster form is online, providing enterprise-level customers with a seamless cloud option. In the exclusive cluster form, customers exclusively enjoy the resources of all physical machines in the cluster resource pool, and can freely and flexibly allocate resources on the host. Through the different business needs and different usage characteristics of the instance, a certain degree of instance resource over-allocation is performed to reduce the cost of a single instance. Under the new product form, the customer-specific cloud database SQL Server cluster cloud not only enjoys the complete database capabilities of the cloud database, but also can enjoy the scale and automated scheduling strategy of the cloud database in the cluster dimension. In the future, we will further open the cluster The permission system allows enterprise customers to retain their own operation and maintenance habits and systems when they go to the cloud, and also feel the ability to improve the cloud database.
