随着智能驾驶技术在新车上逐步普及，车辆研发阶段需要做大量的实车测试工作，当前的测试方式主要是路采实车数据后，按标准和法规进行测试场景提取和测试数据分析。调查显示绝大部分智能驾驶研发厂商以传统的手动分析或借助非专业工具进行半自动处理数据为主，测试分析工作效率极低。
由于路试并非按照预定工况进行顺序驾驶，各种场景往往是在采集过程中无规律地出现，因此给数据筛选和分析工作带来了许多困难。数据分析的步骤一般是通过回放数据进行特定场景的提取，之后再进行数据评价，而往往数据提取和分析所耗的时间与实车采集时间相当，甚至更多。
为解决上述问题，经纬恒润基于并行和科学计算平台自主开发了数据分析的利器INTEWORK-VDA工具，通过此工具可以实现实车录制数据中测试场景的快速筛选和科学评价。VDA包含如下主要功能模块：
