Ibus input method is recommended to use, easy to use.
1 install Chinese language pack
Shortcut WIN+Ainto the application interface, input language supportinto the interface language support,
click the install/remove languagesbutton, check 中文简体and then apply and wait for some time installed.

Install ibus framework:
sudo apt-get install ibus ibus-clutter ibus-gtk ibus-gtk3 ibus-qt4
Then switch to ibus frame:
im-config -s ibus
Then install pinyin engine
sudo apt-get install ibus-pinyin
Then select Preferences pop ibus Pinyin mode
sudo ibus-setup
Select input methodand then click add, select Chinese, and then select the first smart pinyin, close the window and you're done it.
Only need to use the shortcut keys WIN+空格you can switch to intelligent phonetic keyboard, then SHIFTyou can switch in Britain.
