Some people prefer to share a large house with other people, but others prefer to live in a smaller apartment alone. In my opinion, I love living in a smaller apartment alone. There are the following three reasons.
First, I like to go for a smaller apartment alone. When I stay in my house to do my favorite things, I never worry about affecting the others’ life. Frankly, I had some unhappy experiences in the past. Two year ago, I lived in our company. Though the room provided by our company with air-condition and other electronics was very good, it’s very inconvenient for me to do my personal plan. For example, I can’t get up early to learn English. I love porridge, but the company didn’t allow to cook in the room. I’d like to watch XX shows, but my colleagues wanted to watch other programs. When I do some things, I liked to put the colleagues’ benefit first and I didn’t want to affect them. Though I concerned their feeling, I felt very tired due to my limited life style.
On the other hands, if I live alone, I can invite my friends and relatives to my apartment for dinner or lunch. In the past, if I needed to meet my friends, I only could meet them in the coffee shops. Now, I often invite them to my house on weekends. I am glad to prepare for the dishes and beautiful fruits platters for them. Sometimes, we can chat late happily.
Finally, more importantly, I don’t have to put up with their habits. I tend to live a clean environment, so I often make up my room to keep it clean and neat. When I lived in the dorm of our company, when I cleaned the house, my colleagues seldom concerned the work. Because of this, it made me uncomfortable. To be honest, it’s very painful process to bear their habits.
Well, these are the reasons why I choose an apartment alone.
