Who is the student’s best critic?
I am an art student and I paint a lot of pictures.

宾语从句
3.1 含义
含义：一个句子做宾语，叫做宾语从句。
3.2 写法
3.2.1 陈述句变成宾语从句
步骤：
1 把从句直接放到主句中做宾语。
2 加上连接词that分隔词。（that只起连接左右，可以省略，建议不要省略）
You are right.
I know (that) you are right.
They understand modern art.
Many people pretend (that) they understand modern art.
3.2.2 特殊疑问句变宾语从句
步骤：
1 把疑问句变成陈述句语序。（只用把谓语动词移动到主语后面）
2 不用加分隔词。因为特殊疑问词就是主从句的分隔符。
What is a picture ‘about’?
They always tell you what a picture is about.
3.2.3 一般疑问句变宾语从句
一般疑问句：小名：Yes or no question。回答Yes/No的问句叫一般疑问句。
步骤：
1 一般疑问句变成陈述句。（谓语动词放到主语后面）
2 加入连词接（whether/if）（wether 100%能够，推荐，if 使用有一些使用限制）

1 主句是陈述句，从句也是陈述句。
2 主句是疑问句，从句还是陈述句。

3.2.4 描述情感的形容词性宾语从句
如：afraid （害怕的），glad（高兴的），happly（幸福的）,sorry（遗憾的）等之后的名词从句也定义为宾语从句。【另外的一层理解，这些词在宾语从句，可以表示内心的动作，可以称为动单宾结构】
I’m afraid that we’ve sold out of the tickets.
恐怕我们的票已经卖光了。
3.3 位置
1 动宾结构。（ 动单宾 + 动双宾）
Many people pretend (that) they understand modern art.【 动单宾,从句是挨着及物动词】
She always tell me weher/if my pictures my pictures are good or not.【动双宾，从句是挨着人】
2 介宾结构。
he was astonished at what he found.他惊讶于他发现的【介宾结构】

1 art student,学美术的学生。
2 They always tell you what a picture is ‘about’.他们总是告诉你一张画的“意思”是什么。很明显，作者认为那些自以为懂得现代艺术的人的评论根本不着边际。因此，把about(“对画的分析”)这个词放在引号里，以示一种讽刺的口吻。
