2. Introduction to the competition
As one of the earliest competitions sponsored by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, the China Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition was included in the " 2023 National Ranking of Discipline Competitions in General Colleges and Universities " by the Chinese Association of Higher Education, and is a national A-level event . 3. Introduction to the competition
This competition is based on Baidu Apollo's real industrial practice cases, focusing on the driving scenarios of autonomous driving vehicles on urban roads such as sidewalks, traffic light intersections, and construction sections, to carry out research on autonomous driving software algorithms, vehicle dynamics models and map environments used in the competition. Provided by Apollo, contestants need to develop and debug based on the local competition environment according to the requirements of the competition topic. After the debugging is completed, submit the code to the ApolloStudio online evaluation system for evaluation according to the rules. The establishment of this competition is aimed at training students' autonomous driving software algorithm development and debugging capabilities, and providing a drill platform for cultivating innovative comprehensive talents in the industry.
