VMware download and installation steps
1. Download
VMware software download address: https://www.vmware.com/cn/products/workstation-pro/workstation-pro-evaluation.html
Select the installation package to download according to your computer system. After the download is complete, you can install it.
1. Close the computer housekeeper and other anti-virus software before installation, so as to avoid the failure to write the configuration into the registry and cause the installation to fail;
2. Find the downloaded VMware-workstation-full-16.1.1-17801498.exe file and run it as an administrator
3. Enter the installation interface, click Next, first check I accept the terms in the license agreement, and then click Next
4. Change the installation path, the default installation is on the C drive, click Change to modify the installation path
Note: The folder name of the installation path cannot contain Chinese characters! .
5. Keep clicking Next to come to the final interface and click the Install button
6. Wait for the installation process, click on the license, you can choose to enter the key , or skip the trial for 30 days
7. Finally click the Finish button, the installation is successful!
VMware builds a Linux environment
1. Download
CentOS 7 download image file address: http://mirrors.aliyun.com/centos/7/isos/x86_64
Select the CentOS-7.0-x86_64-DVD-2009.iso standard installation version to download
Two, build
1. Find the installed VMware, right-click to run as administrator
2. Click to create a new virtual machine
3. Select Customize and go to the next step
4. Click Next
5. Click Browse, find the CentOS image file you just downloaded, and click Next
6. Set up an account and click Next
7. Select the installation path, you can change the name, and then click Next
8. Change the processor configuration to 2, click Next
9. After setting the memory size, click Next
10. Do not change, go directly to the next step
11. Click Finish
12. Click to start using
