The LT7911D is a high performance DP1.2 to MIPIDSI/CSI chip for VR/smartphone/display applications.
For DP1.2 input, LT7911D can be configured as 1, 2, 4 channels, and also supports channel switching function. Adaptive equalization makes it suitable for long cable applications with a maximum bandwidth of up to 21.6Gbps
For MIPIDSI/CSI output, LT7911D has configurable single-port or dual-port or MIPIDSI/CSI, with 1 high-speed clock lane and 1~4 high-speed data lanes, the highest operating rate is 1.5Gb/s/lane, and can support up to 12Gbps total bandwidth. The LT7911D supports burst mode DSI video data transmission and also supports flexible video data mapping paths.
For LVDS output, the LT7911D can be configured as a single port or a dual port. For 2D video streaming, the same video streaming is fine. Maps to two separate panels, for 3D video formats, it is possible to send left data to one panel and right data to the other
LT7911D has built-in MCU and flash, and supports EDID buffer. DP/eDP input detection, automatically determine to enter power saving mode. When the LT7911D receiver locks the input signal, the microcontroller reads the recovered timing parameters through the MSA register. to match ASSR. The DPCD registers can be accessed through the System 12C when the debug connection is trained.
