4、基于轻量可视化技术的比特币网络仿真器

本论文提出了一种新的区块链网络仿真器,该仿真器采用比特币的原始参考实现作为主程序,利用轻量级可视化技术构建一个可以调节的本地测试网络。

为了支持大规模网络的快速仿真而无需禁用挖矿服务,本论文提出的仿真器可以将比特币挖矿难度等级调整到低于默认的最低值。为了评估区块链在不同网络状况下的性能,仿真器支持定义不同的网络拓扑结构,并且集成了linux内核流量控制工具来模拟包的延迟或丢失。

为了验证仿真器的效率,我们进行了若干实验并研究了算力和网络延迟等因素的影响。

5、网络无关的状态机复制

本论文研究了存在恶意节点情况下的状态机复制的问题,也就是区块链协议要解决的底层问题。

现有的协议通常假设网络是同步的(所有发出的消息都保证在已知时间Δ内)或者是异步的(消息可以任意延迟),虽然后者(异步网络)的协议会提供看起来更强的保障,但实际上这两种网络的协议并不兼容,而且后者仅能容忍更小比例的恶意节点。

本论文提出的状态机复制协议,可以实现如下的网络无关性:如果在同步网络中运行,该协议可以容忍ts个恶意节点;如果网络变成异步的,那么其可以容忍ta≤ts个错误。本论文提出的协议实现了ts和ta的最优折中。
