A delivery type Delivery Type
Delivery type control of the whole delivery, we can see the delivery type in the delivery header in;
Delivery type consider different business transactions delivery processing in the standard delivery types defined SAP system comprising:
LB：Delivery for subcontract order；
LD: Decentralized shipping (used in decentralized shipping in connection with R/2 RV)
LF: Outbound delivery；
LO: Delivery without reference (no sales order necessary in order to create a delivery)；
LP: Delivery from project；
LR: Returns delivery；
NL: Replenishment delivery；
RL: Returns vendor；
Using the control element, we can configure each delivery type to perform different functions. Project practice, we can adjust delivery types in the standard system to meet your business needs; you can also copy a standard delivery type to create a new delivery type.
Second, the delivery line item category Delivery Item Categories
Delivery Item category how the control is operated and the items processed in the shipping process. Available control element provides advanced and flexible automated decisions and inspection. Project practice, often need to configure item categories to meet the specific needs of the business sector.
Copy line item category Coping Item categories from the order from order
When I copy a line item to the delivery, the system also copy order item of item category to the delivery item;
If the order item category assigned to it, or associated with the schedule line delivery, delivery item was defined with the same item category;
Third, the delivery line item category determination Determination Item Categories in Deliveries
The system can not be order independent delivery items (e.g. packaging material) or without reference to the order of deliveries (e.g. delivery type LO) copied item categories. In this case, the system determines the item category delivery according to the configuration specified in the Assignments, in order to determine item category, the system consider item and item category delivery type material master record group. Related illustrated as follows:
We set up some usage for a number of functions internally, for example:
PACK for generating packing items；
CHSP for a batch split；
PSEL for product selection；
For delivery items produced from these functions, the system can determine a different item category;
Copying control copy control
In the copying control configuration, we can specify:
Which sales document types can be copied to what type of delivery;
Which item categories are copied from the referenced credential;
Under what conditions the data is copied from the sales order to the outbound delivery;
Under what conditions a few sales orders can be merged into one outbound delivery;
What data will be passed;
Whether the document should be recorded in the reference stream;
具有相同shipping criteria的到期交货的订单行项目可以一起出货；必须的shipping criteria包括shipping point、the route、ship-to party。标准系统中的某些shipping criteria是可选的并且可以作为splitting criteria从copying control table中移除。我们还能够定义附加的splitting criteria，如果定义的fields有不同的值则不允许joint shipping。
四，发货相关的配置Shipping-relevant Customizing in Sales
我们可以在售订单类型的配置界面做如下参数设置：为outbound delivery带出哪个delivery type；销售订单中是否带出一个请求的交期以及在未来多长时间；当销售订单保存时是否在后台自动创建outbound delivery等等。

Order item category level的delivery relevance仅对text或者value items有效。 例如我们可以设置一条text item与delivery相关，则它会从标准订单复制到outbound delivery并且记录在delivery note中。
使用接口到MM库存管理模块的实际交货只有在使用schedule lines时才可能发生。这就是为什么在标准情形下sales order item category必须允许schedule lines并且schedule line category必须设置为relevant for delivery。
Goods issue移动类型（或者return deliveries的goods receipt移动类型）定义在schedule line category level（事务代码VOV6）。
