我认真看过他的一些youtube视频、LinkedIn履历，我分析有以下几点：
- 数学专业转IT
数学转it不难才有可能6个月自学编程进google。 - 算法很重要
他在google有担任面试官，基本是远程面试算法题。由此，他自己现在的创业项目也是教别人学习算法。 - 沟通表达能力会大大提升职业高度和广度
他在大学就有学习公共演讲和谈判课程（恰恰是中国很多程序员缺失的能力），沟通表达很流畅清晰。IT技术并不一定都是很难的事情，但是一定是靠团队协作的，我甚至大胆的说，沟通解决90%的问题。 - 营销自己
互联网给了我们很好的媒介打造个人品牌，在这方面投入时间绝对值得。挣一份薪水或许能让你生活的还行，但树立个人品牌能让你有更多选择。他在youtube上做博主，积累了9万多的订阅用户，发布了很多视频（基本上和google及it有关），顶着在google工作的光环在youtube上放大影响力，乃至最终积累到开创自己的商业项目，给他带来了丰厚的回报。 - 面向社会价值编程
他放弃了facebook的丰厚薪水，全力投在自己的创业项目上，通过教别人算法以及youtube上的职业指导帮助别人进入it行业，对社会是有价值的，是一种己欲达而达人的做法。
马云说过，有价值的事情再难也要做，没价值的事情再简单也不要去做。企业存在的意义就是帮社会解决问题，满足社会的某种需要，解决的问题越大越成功。对于个人来说也是一样，程序员要不断的思考，做的项目到底解决什么社会问题，实现什么价值。如果有选择，不要参与那些没价值的项目。
