ArcMap coordinate data import CGCS2000

I. Background

          Due to recent project reason, contact with ArcGIS, before again no contact.

        As the pipe network to provide location data of the coordinate system is: the "CGCS2000_3_Degree_GK_CM_117E" excel table data, processing .shp format data is converted into the following:

   The front-end functionality required to achieve (base map coordinate system GCS_China_Geodetic_Coordinate_System_2000), the data to convert the data file shp base map coordinates and consistent facilitate the development of the front end. After exploration ArcGIS tools, successful conversion. In this record, for everyone to share.

Second, the implementation process

1. The table in xls column name, sheet name changed to English or Pinyin, why not sure, because from time to time there will be a problem in the conversion process.

2. import data from File - Add Data - Add XYData, selecting a corresponding column of X, Y column, and then select the corresponding coordinates for the selected coordinate CGCS2000_3_Degree_GK_CM_117E, this must be selected to coordinate, or an error occurs during the conversion later.

3. Save as a layer,

4. The data conversion layer

  1. Open ArcGis tool, find the "conversion coordinate notation";

    2. Open the tool, fill in according to their needs.

      3. After confirmation, the lower right corner for a prompt success.

     4. Locate the converted file, open, can see the tables inside the automatic two more fields, it is converted latitude and longitude. By comparison, the converted data is correct.

Note: Although many people say online, projection tool is also OK, but after practice, without success. Only "projection" after conversion tool, click on the property you can see, coordinate system setting you want to convert into a coordinate system, but the data in the table unchanged.
