Setup and configuration overview:
When you use the ServerGuide Setup and Installation CD, you do not need to install a floppy disk. You can use the CD to configure any supported IBM server model. The installer provides a list of tasks required to install the server model. On the server integrated SAS controller with a ServeRAID adapter or with RAID capabilities, you can create logical drives in the phase configuration of the array.
note:
1. Using the ServerGuide CD-ROM installation will erase partitions and data on the hard disk, choose another installation method if you want to keep the data as well as make a backup copy or,
2, ServerGuide CD does not contain operating system programs, prepare their own customers a genuine Windows operating system CD.
Here to guide through the ServerGuide CD-ROM install Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enterprise version of the operating system as an example:
3. This machine does not require a single tape drive with a USB drive, boot and press F12, select the CD / DVD
1, start the server using ServerGuide CD, there will be a few minutes of the boot process, please wait.
Select the language of this guide plate (note: this time is ServerGuide boot language programming language, and to be installed operating system), the following screen appears, select the "English"

(1), if the array is not disposed over the server as shown below:
On the right half of the center line of the array card information will be displayed, and the current number of drives the array. In sufficient quantity to support an array of card and hard drive case in Select RAID Level array of options there will be some level you can configure optional. If you do not need to configure the array, you can select "Bypass RAID Configuration" option between the image above and click "NEXT" to continue.

Note: ServerGuide will erase all data and logical partitions of one hard disk drive or an array of first default. If you select Clear All Disks, then cleared so the hard disk and the data on the array. If other important data on the hard disk, it would be best to back out.

Select "Chinese (PRC)" item in the main language;
Select "Simplified Chinese" language entry in the second term, the other voice entries are canceled;
(Note: If you installed windows are Chinese Simplified, must be changed in accordance with the above options, there would be garbled after the system is installed);
16, in the following interface selection windows components you want to install, can be installed in the system after Bahrain, click "NEXT" to continue:
17, ServerGuide will be prompted to copy the windows drivers and related installation file, click "NEXT" to continue:
18, after the data copy is complete, the following message appears, click "NEXT" to continue:
19, ServerGuide CD will automatically pop up, prompting you to choose and need to be replaced at the start of the corresponding Windows operating system CD and click "NEXT" to continue:
20, insert the Windows CD, it will automatically search, after finding the disc interface will be shown in the following figure, if the disc does not match, you will be prompted to re-insert the disc.
21, after reading the Microsoft End User License Manual select "I agree" (Note: There are likely to see is garbled, since there is currently no ServerGuide CD-ROM that comes with Chinese font, but will not have the system installed garbled)
22, began to copy the windows installation files:
23. The disc screen requires WINDOWS removed, and then click the "NEXT" confirm restart the server, then the server will go unattended installation, thus ServerGuide disc configuration process is complete. Several times during the restart, without intervention, please wait.
