FastDFS 6.05 was released. FastDFS is a distributed file system, features include: file storage, file synchronization, file access (file upload, file download), etc., to solve the problem of mass storage and high-performance file access. FastDFS particularly suitable as a carrier to file online services, such as pictures, videos, documents and so on.
This version is mainly for small files stored merger binlog compression functions enterprise-class enhancements and improvement, major improvements are as follows:
- Depending on the memory snapshot generation regularly new trunk binlog, in order to achieve the best compression to reduce disk space usage, and can significantly improve data loading speed.
- Above trunk binlog compression support services, to ensure the correctness of data space available trunk. Transaction data support the use of unexpected power failure or downtime after recovery (usually rollback data, it may make the data submitted, the system automatically, without human intervention).
- At the appropriate time automatic backup trunk binlog, as a disaster recovery (backup number upper limit, for example up to seven, using the FIFO method deletes the oldest backup file).
