A, Grafana Introduction
Grafana is an open source metric analysis and visualization tool for cross-platform, it can query the data collected and visual display, and timely notification. It mainly has the following six characteristics:
1, showing the way: fast and flexible client charts, panel inserts, there are many different ways of visualizing metrics and logs, the official repository has a rich instrument panel plug-ins, such as a variety of ways to show heat charts, line charts, graphs and so on;
2, the data source: Graphite, InfluxDB, OpenTSDB, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, CloudWatch KairosDB and the like;
3, notify reminder: to visually define alert rule of the most important indicators, Grafana will continue to calculate and send notifications, notified by Slack, PagerDuty, etc. When the data reaches a threshold value;
4, showing the mixing: a mixture of different data sources in the same chart, each query based on the specified data source, even the custom data source;
5. Note: The use of rich events from different data sources annotated chart, hover event will display the full metadata and mark on the event;
6, filter: Ad-hoc filter allows to dynamically create a new key / value filter, which filters all queries are automatically applied to the data source.

Third, the background note:
After configuring ldap found that users often can not maintain permissions, go away, even after the addition was complete authority, or will disappear, beginning suspected grafana ldap connection is unstable, but later found not the problem, google it and found other people have encountered to a similar question, probably explanation is that, grafana opened group_mapping configuration, but is not set ldap group.
Fourth, the test
Check the /etc/grafana/ldap.toml, we did find the relevant configuration information servers.group_mappings, cancel and restart grafana_server, run a few days did not find the situation out privileges.
