1. Host to ping the ip address of the virtual machine, the virtual machine is turned off or need to properly set up a firewall!
2. Check the network adapter working mode setting state of the virtual machine:
(1) bridge mode , the virtual machine and the host is the same network segment , it can only be a firewall issue
Under (2) NAT mode, determine vmnet8 virtual network card is enabled by vmnet8 and virtual machine communication, vmnet8 and virtual machines on the same network segment
Under (3) hostonly only host mode, confirm vmnet1 virtual network adapter is enabled and set up virtual machines and vmnet1 to the same network segment ip can be.
