Inline Search replace the traditional Eclipse Find and Replace dialog box, provide more funny, more aggressive search experience - one that does not interrupt the development of workflow tools.
DevStyle as Eclipse plug-in provides, is also included in CodeMix in.
Select the inline search parameters
It will automatically contain inline search enabled DevStyle, but you can enable or disable this feature at any time.
1. Go to Window> Preferences> DevStyle> Inline Search.
2. Clear the Use the Inline Search box to search using the standard Eclipse or select the check box to use DevStyle search.
3. Click Apply, then click OK.
Use inline search and replace
Search Text
To use inline search, in any text editor, press Ctrl + F, and then type the text you want to search. All instances of the highlighted text in the editor, and displays the number of occurrences. You can use the "Next" and "Previous" or text navigation arrows found. You can also narrow your search using the following options: Case Sensitive, Match Whole Word and Regular Expression Search.
If you select a block of text before calling inline search, the search is only available for selection. To clear the selection, turn off inline search or in the editor, press Ctrl + F.
To use the classic Eclipse Find / Replace dialog box, press Ctrl + F in Inline Search box.
Replace Text
To replace text, click the down arrow to the right of the Search box to display the Replace option, enter the replacement text, then select Replace and Find Next button or Replace All button.
Enter the bind
Use the following input binding reference can quickly search the text file, and can choose to initiate a replacement.
