September 19, Huawei CONNECT conference, Huawei announced its GaussDB open source database, open source is named after openGauss.
GaussDB database is May 15 this year, Huawei globally oriented released in Beijing, it is called the world's first artificial intelligence Native (AI-Native) database.
According to Huawei introduced, GaussDB has two revolutionary breakthrough:
- The first time AI technology into the full life cycle of a distributed database, operation and maintenance of self-realization, self-managing, self-tuning, self-diagnostic and self-healing. In trading, analysis, and mixed load scenarios, based on optimization theory, the first self-tuning algorithm based on the depth of reinforcement learning, performance tuning than the industry upgrade 85%
- Heterogeneous computing innovation framework by force into full play the advantages of multiple operators, on the authority of the standard test set TPC-DS, lifting performance than the industry 48%
The outside world also believe that the kernel has GaussDB beyond the existing open-source databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL's ultimate performance .
