The latest market share data show , Windows 10 a significant increase in the number of users in July 2019. Windows 10 currently occupy the leading position, while Windows 7 continued to decline.
The report shows, Windows 10 share increased to 45.79% from 48.86%, Windows 7 only 31.83%. Surprisingly, Windows 8.1 actually rose to 5.29 percent from 4.51 percent. Just put more effort, it could even exceed macOS 10.14.

Some users are still using the old Windows XP operating system, but the share of missing data declined year by year, accounting for only 1.68%, down 0.13%.
Six months later, Microsoft is ending support for Windows 7 operating system, then it may face the same fate with Windows XP. Even so, it still dominated the 31% market share.

It is reported that Microsoft will be January 14 2020, the official end of support for Windows 7. This means that it will not receive security and feature updates, but large companies can still pay by the way, to get the support extended period of time.
In the gaming market, Windows 10 still Valve's Steam platform of choice for users, and are growing every month.

Last month, Windows 10 growth rate of 3.73%, 64-bit operating system accounted for 71.57% of them. Followed by Windows 7 64-bit, share of 20.40%.
But as more and more users to upgrade to Windows 10 or to replace old machines, Steam platform to share Windows 7 64-bit or dropped by 3.03%.
