Mentioned in the letter, Libra and Calibra might be to Switzerland as the center of a new global financial system to help generate, and the system will challenge US monetary policy and the dollar's status .

"This raises serious privacy, trade, national security and monetary policy issues. Facebook is not only more than 2 billion users, investors, consumers and the broader global economy should be concerned about this."

Earlier this month, Facebook announced plans to develop a new digital currency called Libra, and storing the digital wallet Calibra digital currency.

However, the White Paper for intent Libra / Calibra project, the role of, and potential uses of the information provided very little in terms of security, there is a risk of large-scale projects and revealed a lack of clear regulatory protection.

Currently, the Congress plans to hold public hearings on the risks and benefits of digital currency trading activities and explore legislative solutions.

"If you do not stop the implementation of the project immediately, we will face controlled by Switzerland, the new system once the failure will lead to financial tsunami."
