Sampling frequency:
The sampling frequency of the sample is the number of 1s, reflecting the size of the interval between the sample points.
The higher sampling frequency, the more realistic the resulting image of the sample, the higher the image quality, but the greater amount of storage.
Image quantization:
How to use a range of values to represent each dot pattern after sampling. The quantization result is total number of colors capable of receiving an image, which reflects the quality of the samples.
Scanning the image:
Generally, the origin of the digital image of the upper left corner. Scanning digital image is scanned from the upper left corner to the right, after a scan line to the next line of the far left to start scanning, all the way to the lower right corner of the image,
I.e., x-axis direction from left to right, y coordinate axis direction from top to bottom.

8-bit gray scale pixel can be distinguished i.e. 2 ^ 8 256 gradation,
12-bit gray scale pixel can be distinguished i.e. 2 ^ 12 4096 gradation.
