Options File
xpdf will be from your user directory (if any) reading called .xpdfrc file. This file can contain two types of entries.
- fontpath directory
- In dicrectory looking for Type 1 fonts. Xpdf font encoding received only by the entry. In order to display, but also by fontmap to the layout of the font entries.
- fontmap PDF-form X-font
- The PDF-font (PDF file specified) layout to the X-font go, X-font must be `% s` containing a standard font description in pixel size X position.
For example, use
- fontmap TimesCE-Roman -*-times-medium-r-*-*-%s-*-*-*-*-*-iso8859-2
To the layout of Central European (Latin-2) edition of the Times-Roman font. It is assumed that you have the appropriate X fonts (see installation mkfontdir (1) ). Xpdf understand ISO8859-2 encoding, so you do not need these fonts fontpath entry use Bakoma Type 1 fonts, you can do this:
-
fontpath /home/derekn/fonts/bakoma
fontmap cmb10 -bakoma-cmb10-medium-r-normal--%s-*-*-*-p-*-adobe-fontspecific
fontmap cmbsy10 -bakoma-cmbsy10-medium-r-normal--%s-*-*-*-p-*-adobe-fontspecific
etc...
It is assumed that Type 1 fonts in the directory / home / derekn / fonts / bakoma down.
