If you want to manage ESXi host network, then we must understand some basic concepts:
ESXi network Overview:
Physical networks: physical network is to enable normal communication between the server and the physical network established. Virtual network built on top of the physical network, not a physical network, virtual network there is no need to exist.
Virtual networks: a network running on the host virtual machine ESXi communications with each other for mutual communication and the logical connection is formed.
ESXi network components:

Virtual switches are divided into three types:

Standard switches provide three types of ports / port group:

to create a new port group on existing switches
use webvclient login vcenter, in the navigation bar, click vcenter- host, 
configure a standard switch, there is a few ESXi host configuration have to do this a few times, too much trouble
