Ubuntu re-used to the terminal in a variety of shortcut keys, replaced after a mac that actually does not.
1. The cursor jumps word
Preferences -> keys
⌥← / Send Escape Sequence / b
⌥→ / Send Escape Sequence / f
2. Delete the word
⌥delete / Send Hex Codes / 0x17
3. Delete the entire line
command delete / Send Hex Codes / 0x15
If the key appears '[D', '[C ' case
Preferences> Profiles> Keys> Load Preset
