  1. Infinitive (to do)

  5. Participle
      We hear him singing in the hall. We heard him singing in the hall.
      I found him lying in bed, sleeping . I found him lying in bed, asleep.
  6. Past participle
      He saw his face reflected in the water . He saw his face shining in the water.
      I heard it spoken of in the next room. I have heard people talk about this in the next room.
