Headquartered in Istanbul film production company Erler Film selected Infortrend's EonStor GSe 3000 to build a PB-level NAS system for a serious challenge to deal with UHD (Ultra High Definition) video format (such as streaming media 8k even higher resolution) caused by, for example, : The number of hard drives surge in big data management.
Erler Film has one of Turkey's biggest media material library in the past 58 years, the use of 35 mm film, analog / digital tape produced numerous movies, television shows and series. Like with many film and television production companies, Erler Film existing IT infrastructure has been unable to bear the amount of data currently generated. To solve this problem, the company has been looking for a suitable storage solution, at the same time upgrade the storage capacity and performance to ensure availability of current data. In addition, another important factor is the scalability of the system the company considered, easy capacity expansion, and storage management in order to meet the various needs of the business. 
In this project, the user installs Infortrend EonStor GSe 3000 series, connected to the disc 5 bits 4U60 enclosure to construct a NAS system for media production workflow, including video capture, non-linear editing, MAM (MAM ). Storing expansion enclosure 280 is mounted co-SAS 3.5-inch hard disk, so that the original capacity of up to 2.8 PB.
