ASUS Lingyao X dual screen pro (UX8402Z) original Windows 11 system recovery installation method and tutorial
Step 1 : Bring your own original system swm/esd/wim/iso and other system files restored by PE installation, or own or after-sales zip factory recovery installation package (6 base packages: EDN.KIT.OFS.HDI.SWP.TLK )
Step 2 : The advantage of installing the system directly with PE is that the installation speed is fast, but the disadvantage is that the computer cannot be reset or initialized.
Or after resetting, the computer will not have the original pre-installed software that was shipped from the factory for the first time.
The advantage of using ASUS zip is that you can restore the system with one click, and you can bring your own original pre-installed system software, but the installation speed is slow.
Step 3: After the files are ready, start the installation. Because PE installation is very simple, I won’t explain it this time.

The installation method of ASUS zip factory package is as follows:
1. First prepare an empty USB flash drive or mobile hard drive of about 16g (not necessary)
2. Create a USB disk partition: the first partition is FAT32 to store the TLK boot file, and the second partition is NTFS to store EDN.KIT.OFS.HDI.SWP and other files.
3. After copying the files to the USB flash drive, restart the computer, click esc, select the prepared boot USB flash drive (UEFI), and press Enter to start.
4. After the above operations are completed, you will enter the ASUS factory page for deployment as shown in the figure:

After the file selection is completed, click Start in the lower right corner to automatically copy the files to the hard disk for installation. The hard disk will be fully formatted during the installation process, so you need to back up the files yourself before installing.
After the file is copied to the hard disk, the lower right corner will change to Shout down. Click Shout down and then unplug the USB flash drive.
Restart the computer and ignore the automated deployment and installation. The recovery page is as shown below:
The installation process depends on the reading and writing speed of the hard disk. It usually takes about 20 minutes to 50 minutes to complete the installation.
It will not end until the full-screen green PASS appears, as shown in the figure:
