one. Install iKuai Router

Download the latest version from the official website of iKuai Router and install it. iKuai Router supports three installation methods: ISO, IMG and GHO. Please choose a reasonable method for installation according to your usage.

Note: If you are using official hardware equipment, you do not need to set up the installation routing step. If the unofficial hardware does not need to install the system after the system is installed, you can directly proceed to the second step of setup.

two. Enter the iKuaiRouting web interface

After the installation is completed, you need to enter the iKuai Router web interface for further settings. The following is how to enter the web interface

The newly installed router will automatically bind eth0 to Lan1, and the default web management address is 192.168.1.1.

So which one is the eth0 interface?

If the hardware is an industrial computer, it is usually the first network port from the left (eth0); if it is installed on an ordinary computer, it is usually an onboard network card.

1. Taking an industrial computer as an example, if we want to enter the router management interface, we must find the lan1 interface of the router.

As shown in the figure below, when the computer is directly connected to the eth0 interface of the industrial computer, it is connected to the lan1 interface.

2. Because DHCP is not enabled by default on iKuai, you need to manually configure the IP for the computer:

①: Right-click on the network icon on the computer, click to open Network and Sharing Center

③: Right-click on the local connection and select Properties, double-click to select Internet Protocol version 4 ( TCP/IPv4).

④: Enter the IP setting page, set the IP address, mask and gateway

3. After setting the IP address, open the browser and enter the domain name column Fill in 192.168.1.1 and press Enter. The default account password is admin

After entering, you will be asked to change your password.

three. Configure external network settings

1. The default router has a wan1 port, but wan1 is not bound to a network card by default, so you need to first bind the network card connected to the external network line.

Note: The network card corresponding to the network port is as shown in the figure: (Decide according to your device)

For example, if I plug the external network line into the second network port of the physical machine, then I need to bind eth1 at wan1 so that I can set the corresponding networking information for this line.

①, click wan1

(After modifying this step, you can modify the internal network port yourself. You can modify it to the network segment you need, such as network segment 50, then modify it to: 192.168. 50.1, but you need to re-modify the computer configuration IP, and then use the new IP to access the ikuai management interface)
②, select a free network card to bind

③, bind After ordering the network card, select the access method of the external network line and configure the relevant information. Aikuai provides a total of five external network access methods. Here, static IP is used as an example (the actual use is mainly dial-up bandwidth account)

Four. Configure the DHCP server (Aikuai does not enable this service by default. If you do not configure this step, the host in the network segment cannot obtain an IP and cannot access the Internet)

Based on the IP address of the Lan port, determine the number of IPs required for the internal network and set the correct DHCP server

Note: The client address pool must be in the same network segment as the Lan port IP address, and the gateway is the gateway of the Lan port. This setting can ensure that the DHCP service starts normally.

1, click to enter the DHCP server configuration interface, click the Add button to add a DHCP server

2, configure a DHCP server corresponding to the Lan1 interface (the previous IP address of lan1 is 192.168.1.1), so the DHCP service configuration is also set based on the 192.168.1.1 network segment

After completing all the above steps, the basic configuration of Internet access has been completed.

Just change the IPV4 of this debugging PC from setting a static IP to automatically obtaining an IP.

At this time, after the terminal below is connected to the router, it can obtain the IP address and access the external network.
