Unity building scene (newbie)

1. Introduction to Polybrush

In general development, Unity uses the terrain system Terrain to construct the scene.

But to be honest, it is not particularly flexible to use. At this time, you can use the Polybrush drawing tool, which is almost the same as using the operating terrain system.

It can be seen that the interface (better looking) is more operable and more flexible to use.

2. Use of Polybrush

There are three versions here. It depends on which one you use. The first one I use is the standard version.

After importing

Then open it in Tools and you can use it, shortcut key Ctrl+Shift+V

The first one is the same as the terrain system to adjust the height (shortcut keys: click up, crtl down, shift range)

The second one is used to soften the terrain and soften the edges. It is a special descending operation.

The third color adjustment (note: you need to add the material yourself, right-click on Standard** to add it and it will be automatically generated)

The fourth brush function allows you to quickly add a bunch of prefabs without adding them one by one.

Set stone probability and wood probability renderings.

The fifth method of drawing textures has the same principle as the third one.

 3. Use of Probulider

When building a scene, in order to solve the problem that the Polybrush scene is stretched and the grid lines become larger, making it impossible to refine the work, you can use Probulider (a more powerful scene construction tool), and import the sample when adding it as before. .

Then use

to refine the mesh.

The latest version has many more functions than the previous version. Here I will directly introduce the first few:

1.New model (cube, cuboid, cylinder....)

2.Create a new polygon model (draw the shape yourself - connect the lines end to end)
