1. Open the official website of Hongmeng development tools

2. Download DevEco Studio

(1) Find your corresponding operating system

(2) After downloading, execute the program and double-click to open and run.

(3) Double-click to open and you will see the interface as shown in the figure. After opening here, click next to start the subsequent installation and configuration preparations.

(4) Select the storage path, which can be the default here or you can change it yourself (it is best not to have a Chinese path).

Then click next
- (5) Are you checked here to create shortcuts and configure environment variables (do not check these two here). If necessary later, you need to configure it yourself. It is recommended to hook it up!
- Then, click next
- (6) Directly default and choose to install install
- (7) After the installation is complete, click next.
- (8) When you see the page below, congratulations on the successful installation of DeEco Studio! Click finish.
3. Configure DevEco Studio

(1) Find the installed DevEco Studio and open it for configuration.

After opening and seeing this, we select (Agree).

(2) Here we need to import the configuration. We have just started. There is nothing to import. Select the default and click OK to next step.

(3) The installation of node.js below (because it is also needed here) requires configuration, if it has been installed on our computer. Just choose here. If it doesn't work, just install it according to the prompts.

If not, install it according to the picture prompts!
! ! ! (If you choose your own here and can’t use it, just choose install)

(4) Here are the third-party dependencies that Huawei Hongmeng relies on that need to be installed. It would be nice if we didn’t choose to install it directly here. Click next.

(5) SDK installation (software package), here also requires the same installation and configuration as Android development. It can be installed by default here. Click next.
- (6) Confirm the agreement and proceed to the next configuration! Note that both of them need to click Accept to unify the agreement! Then click next.
- (7) Confirmation of the installation configuration list! Click next.
- (8) Then wait. After the final configuration is installed, click finish!
- See the installation is complete! Congratulations: DevEco Studio was successfully installed!
4. Error handling
- When we find configuration errors, such as node and SDK installation omissions, we click on the option as shown below
Select hope to enter, and then click the first one to take a look!
- As shown in the picture below, if the normal installation is successful, there will be a green check mark. If you find that it is not, then there is a problem along the way!
- Of course, Huawei is also very good here. If something goes wrong, it will give you a prompt. After checking, just follow the steps. Then, it will automatically check the required dependencies for you to reinstall and configure!
