Two computers in the LAN share folders (share data through direct connection via network cable)

1. Place the two computers on the same LAN

1. Connect the two computers with a network cable
2. Turn off the firewall on both computers
3. Set the IP addresses of the two computers to the same LAN
   
4. To test whether they are on the same LAN, use the ping command

ping 192.168.0.12

2. Set up shared folders

Select the folder you want to share, right-click -> Properties

3. Access shared folders

WIN+R brings up the run window, enter in the input box
