With this release, .NET reinvents the way you build intelligent, cloud-native applications and high-traffic services that scale on demand. Whether deploying to Linux or Windows, using containers or cloud application models, .NET 8 makes it easier for developers to build these applications. It includes a set of proven libraries that are currently used by many of Microsoft's large-scale services to help address fundamental challenges in observability, resiliency, scalability, manageability, and more.
.NET 8 also supports the direct integration of large language models (LLMs) such as OpenAI's GPT into .NET applications.
With Blazor, developers can use a single powerful component model to handle all web UI needs, and use .NET MAUI to deploy mobile applications to the latest versions of iOS and Android.
