The number one free list in Apple’s App Store is pornographic software

The Paper reports today that pornographic software disguised as learning software has appeared in Apple’s App Store and has topped the “Free Apps” rankings.

It is reported that the software is rated for ages 4 and above, but will guide users to gambling and other pornographic websites. Netizen Xiaotong said that he downloaded this software and wanted to learn English letters, but found out that it was a pornographic video software. He believes that this kind of behavior disguised as learning software is dangerous and can easily have a negative impact on children.

After the incident was exposed, although Apple customer service responded, the software was still not removed until the afternoon. Even after the rankings were updated, pornographic software appeared again in the first and second places on the App Store free list, named "Qi XX" and "Peony XXX", with age ratings of 4 years and above.

As of press time, these software have been removed from the shelves .

As we all know, Apple’s App Store review rules are extremely strict. The App mentioned above is actually a browser shell, and the content displayed on the front end can be modified at will through the backend. But the question is, why did Apple’s App review team allow these “shell” apps to be put on the App Store?
