With Amazon Lightsail, you can launch a VPS (Virtual Private Server) on Amazon with just a few clicks. At a single-digit monthly price, [ls_i] handles the heavy lifting and enables you to build and host applications with ease. You can select a configuration from a menu and launch a virtual machine pre-configured with SSD-based storage, DNS management capabilities, and a static IP address.
Since Amazon Cloud Technology launched Lightsail, many customers have used it to launch VPS (Virtual Private Server). For example, Monash University used Amazon Lightsail to quickly re-platform a large number of CMS services in a simple and cost-effective way. They have migrated 50 workloads and are currently considering creating an in-house Lightsail-based CMS service to allow faculty, staff and students to create their own CMS instances in a self-service manner. Today, Amazon Cloud Technology has expanded Lightsail to 14 Amazon Cloud Technology regions around the world and launched a new global console.

The updated Lightsail console makes it easy to create and manage resources within one or multiple regions. You can select only the regions you need when creating a new instance.
All instances and static IP addresses can be viewed on the same page, regardless of which region they are in. Searches can be performed across all resources and regions, all LAMP stacks. Similar searches can be performed on the Snapshots tab. The new DNS zones tab allows you to view existing zones and create new ones.
The SSH key pair creation process is now region-specific. Can manage my key pairs by region. Static IP addresses are also specific to a particular region.
Now available
It is now possible to use the new Amazon Lightsail console and create resources in all 14 regions. It is also worth mentioning that with Amazon EC2, a cloud server with more than 500 instances, you can choose the latest processors, storage, networks, operating systems and purchasing models to better meet the needs of your workload.
