The Amazon cloud technology re:Inforce 2023 global conference kicked off on June 13, 2023 local time in Anaheim, California, USA. At the conference, Amazon Cloud Technology announced the launch of more than a dozen new security services and features, including the official availability of Amazon Verified Permissions, the expansion of the scope of Amazon Detective discovery groups, Amazon Inspector's full support for code scanning of Lambda functions, the launch of Amazon CodeGuru Security preview version and Amazon Built-In Partner Solutions preview and more.
In addition to the above-mentioned innovative releases, this re:Inforce conference also announced that Amazon EC2 Instance Connect Endpoint is officially available; Management Console Private Access has enhanced permission management functions for the Amazon cloud technology management console; Amazon Inspector Code Scan for Lambda is officially available , to perform security scans on Lambda code; Amazon Inspector SBOM Export—officially available, automatic and unified software inventory export and analysis management; Finding Groups for Amazon Detective—officially available, through machine learning and graph engine capabilities, thousands of Discrete findings are distilled into a correlated security incident for security analysis and insight and other important security services and functional updates.
And, at the end of the keynote of the conference, CJ appeared again, introduced the security marketplace and security tools in application development, and proposed "Mean time to defense". Facing future security compliance protection, CJ pointed out that Amazon Cloud Technology is cooperating with NIST to strengthen its ability to protect password protection and future security in the era of quantum computing, and proposed that Amazon Cloud Technology is "for our users, Invest in the future".
