Completely uninstall Unity from your computer

What should I do if there is a problem with the installed Unity? The easiest way is to delete and reinstall the same version. If you just delete the installation file, the installation will be interrupted when reinstalling. This means that the old version of Unity in the computer has not been deleted. So what can I do? How about completely deleting the old version? Just three steps are required:

1. Uninstall the control panel

Double-click to open the control panel on the desktop, select Uninstall a program, select Unity and UnityHub and right-click to uninstall.

2. Clear the unity registry

Enter "regedit" during runtime and double-click to open the registry interface.

Delete all items under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unity

Delete all items under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unity Technologie

3. Delete the unity installation file

Right-click the icon, click to open the file location, and delete the Unity and UnityHub installation root directories.

4. Reinstall

The original unity has been completely deleted and unity can be reinstalled.

The order can be 1->2>3. If you go to step 3 and find that the installation files and icons are gone, you can ignore this step.

The sequence can be 3->2->1. If there is an error message when proceeding to 1, it is because some files have been deleted when proceeding to 3. Ignore the error and continue execution.
