overview

Recently, due to some special reasons, I need to reinstall the latest version of Android (Android Studio 2022.2.1), so I will record the entire installation process and some points that need attention, and provide it to those who need help. Since I am also using it, I do not have a very thorough understanding of the Android Studio software. I hope someone can point out the shortcomings in the article for learning.

Because it is the first time to install, you can only choose the second option here.

It all depends on personal habits and choices. There are no requirements. I personally recommend sending. I just hope that Google can improve Android Studio as soon as possible. I personally feel that there are too many software problems during development.

It is recommended to download the Android SDK in advance. It is too slow to download it in the software. I won’t go into details about the installation of the SDK here. There are many related tutorials on the Internet.

I personally recommend using the first one, allowing it to automatically configure relevant settings, which can basically meet development needs.

Since there are changes in the new version, if you use the Empty Activity template to create a project, you cannot choose the Java language, but can only use the kotlin language for development. Therefore, you need to choose the Empty Views Activity template for development using the Java language.

Before fully entering this programming interface, a progress bar will appear in the lower right corner of this interface. You need to wait until this progress bar runs out before starting to program.

summary

Regarding the installation of Android Studio, it is actually very simple. Basically just "Next" or "Finish", but there are some things that need to be paid attention to, especially the need to download the SDK during the installation process, and the previous version must be Virtual machine devices are created during the installation process. Now virtual machine devices are created after installation, and the entire installation process is relatively simplified.

If there is something wrong, please give me some advice.
