After research and decision by the competition organizing committee, the 20th China Postgraduate Mathematical Modeling Competition in 2023 will be hosted by Southeast University. This competition is open to postgraduate students (master students, doctoral students) from universities and research institutes in China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) and postgraduate students (master students, doctoral students) who will enroll in September 2023, as well as postgraduate students from foreign universities. and a graduate student studying abroad at a domestic university.

1. Registration
(1) Registration of participating units

2. Registration for this competition, review by training units, payment of fees, submission of works, etc. are all on the official website of China Postgraduate Innovation Practice Series Competition (hereinafter referred to as "Research and Innovation Network" ) https://cpipc.acge.org.cn/ conduct. Graduate training units that have participated in the China Graduate Mathematical Modeling Competition in 2022 and before will continue to use their previous usernames and passwords. (2) Registration of participating teams
Graduate students form teams to participate (each team has 3 people, no major limit). Except for 2023 graduate students, graduate students of other grades are not allowed to form teams across schools or units to compete. Participating students should log in to the "Research and Innovation Network" to register an account, and the team leader will sign up to participate. The registration period for participating teams is from 8:00 on June 1, 2023 to 17:00 on September 17, 2023 .
2. Review of participating units
The contact person of the participating unit is required to log in to the "Research and Innovation Network" regularly to perform the unit's management responsibilities and complete the qualification review of the unit's registered participants (including the unit's graduate student who serves as the captain of the inter-school mixed team, and the three members are all 2023-level Team for fresh graduate students), the review start and end time is: 8:00 on June 1, 2023 to 17:00 on September 18, 2023 .
3. How to pay fees and obtain invoices for participating teams
1. The registration fee is 300 yuan per team. If the unit pays the fee uniformly, the contact person of the participating unit should log in to the "Yanchuang.com" and complete the online payment; if the participating team pays separately, the team leader must log in to the "Yanchuang.com" to complete the online payment. .
2. Registered teams must pay after the team is approved. The start and end time of online payment is: 8:00 on June 1, 2023 to 17:00 on September 19, 2023 (payment consultation email: [email protected] .cn ).
3. After the payment is successful, please log in to the system to check the payment status.
4. 4. Competition time and method
1. Competition time: The competition is scheduled to be held from 8:00 on September 22, 2023 to 12:00 on September 26, 2023 .
2. Test question download and verification: The captain of each participating team can log in to the "Yanchuang.com" from 8:00 on September 21 , download the "test question ZIP package", and download the "MD5 code verification tool" specified by the competition, and verify. 3. Test question decryption and paper writing: The captains of each participating team will log in to the "Yanchuang.com" at 8:00 on September 22, 2023 to view the test question decompression password, decrypt the test questions, and use the "Competition Paper Standard Document" to write the competition paper .
4. "Competition System" paper submission: The captain of each participating team uses the designated "MD5 code verification tool" to generate the MD5 identification code of the competition paper in pdf format, and log in to the "Research and Innovation Network" before 12:00 on September 26 Submit the MD5 identification code of the paper. From 14:00 on September 26, 2023 to 24:00 on September 27, 2023 , log in to the "Research and Innovation Network" to upload the competition paper in pdf format.
5. Competition discipline: During the competition, instructors are not allowed to communicate with contestants in any form about the competition questions; participating teams are not allowed to discuss the content of the competition questions with anyone outside the team (including online). Participating postgraduate training units should try their best to provide necessary competition conditions for the team members and supervise the participating team members to comply with competition disciplines.
6. Violation handling: Team members must abide by scientific ethics and academic standards, and the sources of cited documents must be indicated. The competition expert committee will conduct similarity testing on all papers. Papers whose similarity is higher than a certain threshold (determined by the expert committee) or are similar to each other will generally be directly judged as "violating papers" and manual judgment will be made if necessary. Quoting other people's programs must also clearly indicate the source of the citation, otherwise it will be deemed as plagiarism as an "illegal paper". The organizing committee will seriously deal with the violations of participating students and disqualify them from winning awards (including successful participation awards). For serious cases, the results will be reported to their training units.
5. Award setting
The competition establishes first, second, and third prizes, enterprise special awards, "Digital Analog Star" first, second and third runner-up, "Digital Analog Star" nomination awards, successful participation awards, outstanding organizational units, outstanding contributions, advanced individuals and other awards.
In principle, the number of first, second and third prize winning teams shall not exceed 1.5%, 13% and 20% of the total number of participating teams. Domestic and foreign participating teams will be evaluated separately, and the specific number will be determined by the organizing committee based on the participation situation.
The expert committee can select the best from the first-prize winning teams to participate in the "Digital Analog Star" final defense meeting. The top three defense scoring teams will be awarded the first, second and third place in the “Digital Analog Star” competition, and the defense teams that do not rank among the top three will receive the “Digital Analog Star” nomination award.
6. Competition Results Announcement and Awards Ceremony
