First appearance! Walrus was selected as a digital transformation innovation case in the "Digital Intelligence Influence" of the Service Trade Fair

On September 5, the " Enterprise Digital Transformation Forum" jointly sponsored by the Beijing Municipal Communications Administration Bureau and the News and Publicity Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology was held during the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services. The forum was themed "Digitalization Leads High-Quality Development" , aims to explore how information technology can be deeply integrated with various industries, build a new pattern of digital transformation, and empower high-quality development of industries.

The results of the 2023 Enterprise Digital Transformation Forum’s annual “Digital Intelligence Influence” collection were released at this forum. After review by an expert jury, the application deployment management platform Walrus (formerly Seal AppManager) stood out from more than 100 cases with its leading product concept and product design and was selected as a typical case of "digital intelligence influence" digital transformation innovation.

The application deployment management platform Walrus was first launched by Shuche Software Seal in April this year. After 3 versions of iterations, it was 100% open source based on the Apache 2.0 license in mid-August. Designed based on the concept of platform engineering, Walrus hopes to provide R&D and operation and maintenance teams with an easy-to-use, consistent application management and deployment experience by reducing the complexity of using infrastructure , thereby building a seamless collaborative software delivery process.

Walrus was the first to integrate an AI large language model into the product when it was first released, providing AIGC capabilities to help users simplify template code generation, reflecting the technological foresight of the product development team. In addition, Walrus has core features such as one-click deployment and cloning of complex application systems, upper-layer abstraction that can shield infrastructure, and flexible and powerful dynamic management capabilities for applications and environments. It creates a simple and refreshing application deployment and management experience for developers and solves the problem of DevOps implementation. The "last mile" problem helps enterprises accelerate business delivery and gain market opportunities.

"In the future, Walrus will continue to leverage AI and open source, a two-wheel drive to continuously explore the boundaries of basic software innovation and provide unique product features for enterprise users." said Qin Xiaokang, co-founder and CEO of Shuche Software Seal, "At the same time, we We look forward to working closely with upstream and downstream partners in the software development process to jointly create a simple and beautiful software development experience."
